April!!

Where did it go! I haven't posted for awhile, I keep waiting for my camera to let me upload pictures, but unfortunately it isn't going to happen. Easter was a busy day for us, not only was it Easter, but it was Karly's 3rd birthday. So we decided to celebrate the night before. She wanted a princess cake. She had a blast. She got her very own pink and purple baseball bat and ball. She thought that was wonderful. She also got a baby, a baby seat, and little mermaid goggles. For some reason she loves to run around the house in swim goggles, so when Dan saw the Little Mermaid goggles he had to get them for her. She was in heaven.
We also set the date for the baby to come, June 15th, unless I am lucky enough to go sooner! We have been working on our basement to get more room for when the baby gets here. I am stressed out!! My crib, clothes, and blankets are all stuffed in the very back of the storage room and I cannot get to them. I asked Dan why he did this and he said, "Don't worry it will be done before the baby comes." Well, I would like it before the night before, so I may have to squeeze my way in and find them. I need to be prepared, he thinks I'm crazy! He says we have plenty of time, I am not so sure! Here we are in the first week of May and we are only on the texture!!
Wish me luck and hope I don't drive him crazy with my nagging!

Update!

Last Saturday we went to Disney on Ice! The kids loved it. We didn't tell them where we were going until we were in our seats waiting for the show to start. Jackson could hardly stand the suspense. He kept saying "Please, tell me our surprise." Karly loved the Little Mermaid and Tinkerbell. Kamrie loved Lilo and Stitch. I was very unsure of how Kamrie was going to react to the whole thing, but she really seemed to like it. She laughed and giggled through most of the show. I think she loved the loud music and all the lights. Jackson's favorite part was the cotton candy and the pirate ship from Peter Pan. He loved when the crocodile ate Captain Hook, such a boy!
After the show we went to the Mayan to have lunch. The kids thought they got to swim. Jackson said "Did you bring our swim suits?" I laughed and told him he didn't want to swim here because they jump off cliffs and there is not enough room to just swim around. Once we got inside, he was excited, but glad we forgot our swim suits! Karly loved the girls jumping and the boy climbing like a monkey. All in all we had a great time. I will post pictures later, as soon as I can get my camera working!

February a month for Celebrations!

February is a busy month in our family. Kamrie turned 7 on February 7th. It is hard for me to believe she is 7 years old, time flies and it is amazing how one minute they are babies and the next she is 7! Also, Dan and I celebrated our 11 year anniversary on the 13th. It has been a wonderful 11 years, but once again I am amazed at how time flies by. It does not seem like we have been married 11 years. Only I can't seem to picture my life without him. We have had a great time!
Love you Dan!

It's A Girl!!

For those who don't know, yes we are expecting baby #4!! We must be crazy! We are all very excited and can hardly wait until June. Anyway, we found out that it is going to be a sister. Yes, it is another girl. Jackson was disappointed at first, he really wanted a brother. I told him that he is special because he is the only boy in our family, out of the kids. He thought about that for a minute or two and said" I think I'll be ok." Since the ultra sound he keeps coming up to me and saying "Mom, I love you and I love that your having a sister baby." He can be such a sweet heart, when he wants to be. Karly thinks we should name her Dora, or Cinderella, or Hannah Montana! Good thing she does not get to make the final decision.

Finally!! Something new!!

Well, it has been a long time since I have updated my blog. Christmas came and went in what seemed like a blur! We had a great holiday and the kids can hardly wait for next year.
Karly recently got her ears pierced. She has been wanting earings for such a long time. She has a cousin that has her ears pierced and every time Karly sees her she would remind us that she wanted earings. So, around the first of January my mom, sister and I took Karly to get them done. I had warned her that it would hurt, but she didn't care, she wanted earings. So we got to the mall and she got to choose her earings, cute little pink flowers, and sat in the chair. While the lady was getting her ears ready mom and aunt Amy were picking earings for Karly to look at. Karly meanwhile was grinning just like she is in this picture. The ladies did the ears and she sat stunned for a second and then began to cry. I looked at the lady and asked if she had a mirror, she looked at me kind of funny. She gave me a mirror and as soon as Karly took one look at her ears she stopped crying and was loving how pretty her new earings made her. She didn't cry again! She is such a girl! She took a pink purse to the mall and I figured it would be in the stroller soon after we got walking, but she insisted on holding it the entire time. She loves her new earings. Thanks for the support mom and Amy!

Letters to Santa

Last week Jackson wanted to write Santa a letter. He loves to mail letters. So we sat down and all the kids wrote a letter to Santa. Jackson helped Kamrie write her letter and I helped Karly with hers. I let them put three things on their list of toys. They had so much fun. Well, yesterday a package came in the mail. It was addressed to all three kids. Jackson was so excited he could hardly stand it. It was from Santa, he could read that much. Inside were three letters and some bells for the kids. This was thanks to my sweet sister and her very thoughtful husband. The kids loved their letters. I didn't realize just how happy this would make them. I love this time of year. Thanks Amy and Russell for your help.
Merry Christmas!!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween is finally over!! I know that sounds terrible, but as a parent it seems like more work than fun. Loading and unloading kids in costumes, taking off wings, putting them on, trying not to lose anything or anyone. Needless to say, we did have a great day. We had Kamrie as a devil, so not her personality, Jackson was Optimus Prime, and Karly our little fairy princess. Funny thing is, the mood Karly was in that night my niece said "You should have switched these two." Meaning Kamrie and Karly. She was being a devil. We made stops at grandma Vincent's, Kmart to see grandma Jackie, then went with my sister and her husband and their 5 kids, my brother and his wife and their 4 and my other brother and his 1. Lots of kids running crazy, but having a blast. Then we went to see grandpa Blaine and eat dinner. The kids had a blast and so did mom, we will be doing it again next year!!
