Well, it has been a long time since I have updated my blog. Christmas came and went in what seemed like a blur! We had a great holiday and the kids can hardly wait for next year. Karly recently got her ears pierced. She has been wanting earings for such a long time. She has a cousin that has her ears pierced and every time Karly sees her she would remind us that she wanted earings. So, around the first of January my mom, sister and I took Karly to get them done. I had warned her that it would hurt, but she didn't care, she wanted earings. So we got to the mall and she got to choose her earings, cute little pink flowers, and sat in the chair. While the lady was getting her ears ready mom and aunt Amy were picking earings for Karly to look at. Karly meanwhile was grinning just like she is in this picture. The ladies did the ears and she sat stunned for a second and then began to cry. I looked at the lady and asked if she had a mirror, she looked at me kind of funny. She gave me a mirror and as soon as Karly took one look at her ears she stopped crying and was loving how pretty her new earings made her. She didn't cry again! She is such a girl! She took a pink purse to the mall and I figured it would be in the stroller soon after we got walking, but she insisted on holding it the entire time. She loves her new earings.
